Og‘zaki nutq o‘quvchining fikrlash, idrok etish, muloqotga kirishish, o‘z munosabatini ifodalash va ijtimoiy tajriba orttirish jarayoni bilan uzviy bog‘liq bo‘lgan murakkab nutqiy faoliyat sifatida talqin qilinadi. Maqolada interfaol metodlarning an’anaviy o‘qitish usullaridan farqi, o‘quvchilar nutqiy faolligini oshirishdagi o‘rni, dialogik va monologik nutqni rivojlantirishga ta’siri hamda o‘quv jarayonida erkin muloqot muhitini yaratishdagi ahamiyati tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotda suhbat, munozara, “aqliy hujum”, rolli o‘yin, kichik guruhlarda ishlash, klaster, insert, keys-stadi va vaziyatli topshiriqlar kabi interfaol metodlarning boshlang‘ich ta’lim sharoitida og‘zaki nutqni rivojlantirishdagi samaradorligi asoslab beriladi.
