Har bir tilda yaratilgan matnlar korpusi, birinchi navbatda, shu tilning lug‘at boyligini aks ettirishga xizmat qiladi. Grammatik va uslubiy xususiyatlarini aks ettiradi. Jumladan, parallel matnlar korpusi tarjima qilinayotgan tillar o‘rtasidagi lakunar hamda realiya birliklarni to‘liq ifodalash imkonini beradi.
