Xususan, qishloq xo‘jaligiga ixtisoslashgan oliy ta’lim muassasalarida ingliz tilini o‘qitishda kompetensiya, kommunikativ kompetentsiya, atamashunoslik muhim masalalardan hisoblanadi. Ushbu maqolada qishloq xo‘jaligi uchun ingliz tilini o‘rgatish zarurati, qishloq xo‘jaligi (texnik) lug‘atini o‘rgatish muammolari haqidagi so‘nggi fikrlar va O‘zbekistonda qishloq xo‘jaligi talabalari uchun leksik kompetentsiyaning ahamiyati bayon etilgan.
