Since railway communication, postal services, and telegraph systems were forced to adapt to wartime conditions, Uzbek signal operators faced difficult and complex tasks. Solving such problems required assessing military conditions, rapidly comparing information, and delivering correspondence efficiently. During the Second World War, radio activities also underwent significant changes. Events occurring on the front line were regularly transmitted to the population via radio. In addition, radio served as a source of moral support for the working people in the rear.
