%X This study analyzed archival autopsy materials of 81 individuals who died from cerebrov scular diseases and underwent examination at the Republican Center of Pathological Anatomy during 2022–2024. Kidney pathomorphological changes were most common in the 53–63 age group (27.2%), where hypertension and diabetes mellitus predominated, while atherosclerosis, chronic nephropathy, and chronic renal failure were more frequent in the 64–96 age group. Secondary chronic pyelonephritis was the most common complication, influenced by infection, impaired diuresis, and prolonged bed rest
