%T COMPARATIVE FOLKLORE AS INFRASTRUCTURAL EPISTEMOLOGY: DESIGNING A SHARED CORPUS IN THE TURKIC CULTURAL SPHERE
%X This article reconceptualizes comparative folklore as an infrastructural epistemology and proposes a shared corpus model for the Turkic cultural sphere. Twentieth-century scholarship in Turkic epic studies – exemplified by the work of Tora Mirzayev – established arigorous foundation for analyzing variation, transmission, and performance within oral tradition. Yet while comparative methodologies have matured theoretically, the institutional conditions necessary for sustained transregional comparison remain underdeveloped.
