%X This article analyzes the theoretical and practical foundations of introducing the digital economy and modern agro-technologies in agriculture. It also examines foreign experience, including the advantages of smart farming systems in the examples of the Netherlands and Japan. According to the results of the study, the application of digital economy elements to agriculture is substantiated as an important factor in increasing production efficiency, ensuring the rational use of resources, and enhancing the competitiveness of the agrarian sector.
