%X The conclusion is that the bioecological role and adaptation characteristics of the soil macrofauna in Akpetkey archipelago, one of the new ecosystems formed in the dry areas of the South Aral Sea, are analyzed. The research results show that macrofauna representatives (worms, arthropods, insect larvae, etc.) are important for soil formation, metabolic processes, and ecosystem stability. Also, the morphophysiological adaptation mechanisms of organisms living in dry and salty environments were analyzed.
