%X  This article is devoted to the analysis of the problems of achieving socio-ecological stability in the South Aral Sea region. The study scientifically substantiates the instability of socioeconomic development in the context of the region's ecological crisis. The main focus is on the impact of soil, water, and biodiversity degradation caused by the drying up of the Aral Sea on the well-being of the population. As a result of the analysis, three main mechanisms for ensuring socio environmental stability (institutional, ecological-innovative, and socio-adaptive) were systematized. The article serves as a theoretical and practical basis for developing future sustainable development strategies for the region
