%X The article analyzes the territorial opportunities for the development of the food industry in the Samarkand region. The socio-economic conditions, natural resource potential, and institutional environment of the region are considered as a comprehensive basis. It highlights the region’s natural and climatic conditions, agricultural raw material base, transport and logistics infrastructure, as well as domestic and external market opportunities. The interconnection between agricultural production and the processing sector, aswell as the significance of state policy and public-private partnership mechanisms, is also described.
