%X In an era of rapid development of digital technologies, the importance of reading culture and its impact on the thinking of young people are analyzed. The changes occurring in the reading process as a result of the increasing flow of information, the widespread use of social media, and electronic devices are highlighted. The specific features of traditional and electronic reading are compared, and their advantages and disadvantages are examined. Furthermore, the role of reading in promoting a culture of reading among youth, developing critical thinking skills, and strengthening moral and ethical values is substantiated.
