%T HISTORY OF THE MAWLAWI DANCES AND SAMU GATHERINGS: Based on information from Alisher Navoi’s "Nasoyim ul-muhabbat" and Radiy Fish's "Jaloliddin Rumi"
%X This scientific article is devoted to the history and essence of the Samo’ gatherings held in the Eastern countries of the Sufi order, in particular, in the Mavlavi order. The meaning of the word Samo’, the origin of this ceremony, its long history, and its place in the life of the founder of the Mavlavi order, Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi, are discussed based on the works of Alisher Navoi and the historical novel “Jalaluddin Rumi” by Radiy Fish.
