N2  - This article is devoted to the study of research issues in the field of linguoculturology. Linguoculturology represents an interdisciplinary direction that studies the interrelationships of language and culture and their effects on each other. The article will talk about the theoretical foundations of linguoculturology, research methods and prospects. Issues such as the close connection of language and culture, the specifics of each culture being reflected in different units of language have been analyzed. Also, the importance of Comparative Study of the linguistic features of different cultures, research on the relationship of language and culture is highlighted. The article reveals the essence of such techniques as comparative-historical, research, linguocultural analysis, associative experiment, Corpus analysis and discourse analysis. The role and significance of these techniques in linguoculturological research is shown. Studies have found that language and culture correlates are important factors for understanding and interpreting each other. At the same time, it has been argued that research in the field of linguoculturology can be applied in areas such as translation, teaching foreign languages, intercultural communication. Linguoculturology is one of the promising and relevant areas aimed at studying the relationship between language and culture. Its development is important not only for linguistics and cultural studies, but also for many other disciplines.
