%X This paper presents a comparative analysis of symbolism and allegory in Uzbek and English literature, highlighting their roles as cultural and aesthetic expressions in Eastern and Western literary traditions. The study examines how symbolic and allegorical elements in Uzbek literature are deeply influenced by Turkic oral traditions, Islamic mysticism, and Central Asian cultural narratives, often conveying philosophical and social messages. In contrast, English literature employs symbolism and allegory predominantly  through Western philosophical and socio-political perspectives, emphasizing individualism and existential themes. By juxtaposing these literary devices in two different cultural contexts, this research sheds light on the diverse ways in which symbolism and allegory reflect the values and historical experiences of their societies. The findings contribute to the broader field of comparative literature and offer insights into intercultural literary dialogue between the East and West.
