%X This article explores the application of theoretical linguistics in computer linguistics and artificial intelligence systems. It analyzes how the theoretical branches of linguistics—such as phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics—serve as ascientific foundation in the development of computer programs. In particular, the role of theoretical linguistics in natural language processing, automatic speech recognition, machine translation, text analysis, and the advancement of dialogue-based intelligent systems is highlighted. Furthermore, the article discusses the potential of utilizing linguistic principles to improve the efficiency oflanguage models and algorithms in artificial intelligence. The study is aimed at revealing the intrinsic relationship between theoretical linguistics and practical computer technologies.
