N2  - The multi-volume "Encyclopedia of Alisher Navoi" is a large encyclopedia that covers in-depth information about the historical, social, political, cultural and literary life of the great poet and thinker, major statesman and public figure Alisher Navoi in the second half of the 15th century in Khorasan and Transoxiana, the biography of the great poet, his activities, relatives, friends, the spiritual sources of his work, his predecessors, his literary heritage and his global significance, as well as his incomparable place in the history of our classical literature. The encyclopedia also includes articles on issues of Navoi studies, publications of the great poet's works in different years, translations into foreign languages, manuscripts and lithographs stored in the treasures of our country and world libraries, as well as articles on the reflection of the figure of Alisher Navoi in such art forms as painting, sculpture, theater, and cinema. Some examples of reviews and analyses of his works of various poetic genres are given. In particular, this 2nd volume of the book includes 658 articles, which are unique in their diversity of topics, novelty, accuracy and interest of many information and facts. ?Alisher Navoi Encyclopedia? is intended for Navoi scholars, researchers engaged in classical literature, professors and teachers of the Uzbek philology department of higher educational institutions, students, literature teachers of secondary schools, and in general, a wide readership interested in the life and work of Alisher Navoi.
