Грибы могут не только вызывать кандидоз, но участвуя в микробных ассоциациях, влиять на течение болезней, возбудителями которых являются бактерии. Настоящие исследования были проведены с целью выяснения обнаружения различного вида грибов рода Кандида при хроническом тонзиллите у детей, т. е. в той возрастной группе, в которой происходит формирование этого заболевания. Выделенные штаммы грибов изучали до вида по наличию морфологических признаков, типу филаментации, способности образовывать хламидоспоры, биохимическим свойствам и ассимиляции сахаров.
