%X This article explores the structural characteristics of logistics terminology in English and Uzbek, focusing on how each language constructs and represents key logistic concepts. English logistics terminology is known for its use of compound nouns, acronyms, and morphological markers that allow for concise yet specific expression. Terms like supply chain or warehouse management exemplify this compact structure. In contrast, Uzbek relies more on multi-word descriptive phrases and affixation, maintaining syntactic clarity even if resulting in longer expressions. The study highlights how Uzbek logistics terms often unpack single English compounds into explanatory components that fit Uzbek grammar and syntax. The article also examines the use and adaptation of acronyms and agentive suffixes, concluding that while English emphasizes brevity and compounding, Uzbek favors explicitness and grammatical transparency in professional logistics vocabulary.
