%X This article examines the key challenges involved in translating logistics terminology between English and Uzbek. The analysis identifies core issues such as the lack of one-to-one equivalents, polysemy, structural mismatches, and terminological inconsistency. English logistics language, shaped by early professionalization and global use, often relies on compact compound nouns and acronyms. Uzbek, in contrast, uses descriptive multi-word phrases and affixation that align with its agglutinative grammar but may result in longer and more complex expressions. The prevalence of Russian and English borrowings in Uzbek further complicates translation, introducing variability and potential confusion. This article emphasizes the need for standardized bilingual glossaries and collaborative terminological efforts to ensure clarity and precision in logistics communication.
