Moreover, the study confirms the effectiveness of this style of writing in terms of brevity and its direct impact on the reader. Through an analysis of works by Ernest Hemingway, Raymond Carver, and Lydia Davis, this paper argues that laconism is not merely a stylistic choice but a narrative strategy that amplifies emotional depth, reader engagement, and thematic resonance.
