Model (Recognize Assumptions, Evaluate Arguments, Draw Conclusions) provides a practical framework for developing and assessing critical thinking abilities.  Integrating the WGCTA with the R.E.D. Model offers a comprehensive approach to evaluating and enhancing philology students’ critical thinking competencies. This study explores the effectiveness of this integration in assessing students’ analytical abilities and fostering deeper cognitive engagement.
