N2  - At the present stage of development of education, one of the most urgent problems that require new solutions is need for a qualitative improvement in the knowledge of a foreign language with a small number of hours of study allocated for the study of this subject by the curriculum. The advancement of modern technologies has significantly transformed the way of teaching and learning foreign languages. Traditional classroom methods, once textbooks, social interactions, have been boosted by virtual and augmented reality (VR\AR), mobile applications, and online platforms. These innovations provide learners with interactive, immersive, and personalized experiences, making learning language process much more efficient and engaging. The article explores how speech recognition tools, gamification, virtual tutoring, and online platforms revolutionize foreign language education and active teaching methods meet these requirements, since their essence is to interest students, to make them an active participant in the educational process.
