%T "CHALLENGES OF TRANSLATION FROM ENGLISH INTO UZBEK"
%X The translation of texts from English into Uzbek presents unique linguistic and cultural challenges that require specialized approaches and methodologies. This article examines the primary difficulties encountered by translators working between these two structurally and culturally distinct languages. The research highlights several key areas of complexity: the significant syntactic differences between English as an SVO (Subject-Verb-Object) language and Uzbek as an SOV (Subject-Object-Verb) language; the limited availability of specialized terminology in Uzbek for technical, scientific, and modern concepts; cultural nuances that resist direct translation; and the ongoing evolution of the Uzbek language itself as it incorporates new terminology. The paper also addresses the scarcity of comprehensive English-Uzbek translation resources and tools compared to more widely translated language pairs.
