%X This research examines the semantic field of “success” (omad) in English and Uzbek using a comparative approach. The lexical meanings of “success” and “muvaffaqiyat” are analyzed, along with their connotations and cultural expressions.The relationship between language and culture is one of the most significant topics in modern linguistics. Every society expresses its worldview and values through language .
