N2  - In this article describes exercises that include more than one level of language proficiency are referred to as integrated exercises. For instance, a reading passage that is then followed by a writing assignment, or a listening exercise that is then followed by a speaking activity to demonstrate comprehension. Students are able to build a more comprehensive understanding of the language and its application in real-world circumstances through the use of integrated exercises.
